A collection of my photos that I think (hope!) are good, and hopefully continue to get better as time goes by!

Some More Old Photos!

At this point I have a lot of old photos! So allow me to post them for you! :) I will try to do it chronologically.

I love this picture! Meredyth was running around the new house taking pictures of everybody, including herself.

The capitol building in Saint Paul, Minnesota from the steps of the cathedral.

The Stone Arch Bridge in St. Paul, MN. It was VERY cold the day we visited here and Jen and I tried to walk across the whole thing but we were freezing. However, I got a good picture! :)

The shadows in my kitchen - I love the afternoon light I get in there in the winter.

Some of my favorite flowers also done in the great afternoon light of the kitchen.

Old Photos

So I am trying to put some photos up here that I have been saving because I like them. Here are a few from last fall. Fall is my favorite season! - Well besides spring, because of the flowers and summer, because I don't have to work and winter, because there are snow days . . .

Love this picture! It was taken the day after Dad's retirement from ODOT.

Allow me to sound arty - I love the mismatch of rough machinery with the pretty trees.

That is it for tonight. Leave a comment, it would make me feel good! :)

All Set Up - I Think!

So with my cousin Sue's help, I have set up a blog. It won't really be about me blogging - it will be about my pictures and me learning to take some good ones hopefully. So I guess we shall see if I get good at this! :)

An awesome cornflower with a purple clover in the background.

Wildflowers or weeds, whatever you call them - I think these are pretty. I think they might be cornflowers? There is a whole pasture behind Mom and Dad's.

I really liked the colors in this picture of the purple clover, the white Queen Anne's Lace, and the golden wheat with the kind of cloudy sky and all of the green. I wonder if the neighbors know how often their house shows up in my pictures? ;)

The clothesline! My mom would love it if she knew I posted this picture online. I just thought it had some cool lines.

This one is a milkweed plant. It smells amazing! I thought it was great because you could see the buds and the milkweed bugs on the plant. I have a special fondness for the milkweed plant because it is the only plant where monarch butterflies will lay their eggs. Obviously I need to learn to turn off the date stamp. I am aware of this issue.
